The
filtering process has a built-in, unchangeable, irremovable
baseline filter that blocks access to material that is
universally accepted as objectionable. Upon that baseline
filter, much customization to the filter is possible,
enabling an experience as close as possible to your exact
preferences.
All types
of filtering methodologies are available and usable as
customizable options: BlackList, WhiteList, Email only, and
combo BlackList/WhiteList.
Preset
"Profiles" allow and disallow access to certain categories
of content. The person who establishes the KosherNet account
(the initial subscriber or "Profile Manager") can modify
(manage) the preset Profiles to add, or remove categories
selected to be accessible or blocked. The Profile Manager
can also add or deny access to specific sites for any
Profile. A custom-made White-List can also be created and
used as the Profile for internet accessibility.
Changes to
account settings are controlled by passwords at various
stages, some of which are optional and some mandatory.
Once the
KleenWeb software is installed on a computer and a related
account is established within KosherNet’s servers, that
computer’s internet access is filtered by KosherNet’s
servers. A constant, visible Client icon will be on the bottom right corner of the screen.
Complete
removal of the program requires a phone call to our
headquarters and conversation with a specialist.
